UTI? - U R IN(E) Trouble!
Before we get into it, we need to make sure that we understand what exactly a UTI is. A Urinary Tract Infection is one that may affect any part of the Urinary system in our body which includes the Kidney, bladder, ureters and urethra (if you want to go into the biology of it).
The few of us who have experienced an UTI infection know that its no joke. They're extremely uncomfortable - With the continuous burning sensations down there, the uncontrollable urge to pee all the time and sometimes even signs of blood.
Lets get into the gory detail's of UTI's now shall we?
SYMPTOMS :

- increased frequency of urination without passing much urine

Hydrate your body and meet your fluid requirements . We suggest that you keep your water bottle handy and keep sipping water throughout your day. This helps as dehydration increases your risk of infection.
2. Increase your Vitamin C intake :
Evidence shows that vitamin can actually help protect you against Urinary Tract Infections. Vitamin C helps kill the bacteria which cause infection by increasing the acidity of urine.
3. Cranberry Juice : (which is awesome, you can just pretend its wine)
Drinking cranberry juice is one of the most common cures to curing a UTI. Cranberries work by preventing bacteria from adhering to the urinary tract, thus preventing infection.
Now let's talk about how we can avoid UTI's altogether, because seriously its one more inconvenience we can do without.
- Drink plenty of fluids
- Don't Ever hold in your pee
- Do not engage in unprotected sex
- Avoid scented hygiene products
